Every person is unique, with their own individual DNA, perspectives, and life experiences that shape who they are. Our individuality informs our decision-making and influences how we interpret and respond to different situations. As the saying goes, "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he; as a woman thinks in her heart, so is she." The information we derive from our unique perspective and experiences guides our actions and reactions.
As an individual, you have your own unique qualities and behavioral tendencies. In this session, we'll explore the concept of human drivers*, which is widely used in business development and marketing communication. This theory helps us better understand what motivates people to take certain actions and make certain decisions, and can be applied in various contexts to drive meaningful change.
"I realized that the commercial for Gillette razor blades, that I had seen at the age of 16 years old, had an impact on me. It showed me that success meant having a beautiful wife, children, an expensive convertible, and wealth. I came to understand the power of persuasion and make-believe. It was connected to an inner trigger that made me feel not good enough, and this drove me continuously." – Male Entrepreneur, 43 years Netherlands
Taking the time to explore your personal drivers requires courage and vulnerability, as it involves confronting and examining your own belief systems and values. By being willing to look inward and honestly assess what motivates you, you can gain valuable insights into yourself and develop greater self-awareness, which can lead to personal and professional growth.
Following this session, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a one-on-one conversation with a personal coach. This conversation is designed to help you reflect on what you've learned and explore how you can apply these insights to your personal or professional life.
